At Posey, we believe that your photos and your creative process should remain entirely private. This Privacy Policy explains our approach to data and why you can use Posey with total peace of mind.

1. Zero Data Collection

Posey is built on a "Privacy by Design" architecture.

  • No Personal Information: We do not collect, store, or request any personal identifiers (such as your name, email, or phone number).
  • No Tracking: We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any analytics SDKs to monitor your behavior.
  • No Internet Transmission: The app is designed to function entirely offline. We do not transmit any data from your device to external servers.

2. Local Processing Only

All functionality within Posey happens strictly on your hardware.

  • Reference Images: When you select a reference image to overlay, it is accessed directly from your local gallery. It is never uploaded to a cloud.
  • Photo Storage: Photos taken through Posey are saved directly to your device’s native photo library.
  • No Cloud Sync: Posey does not maintain its own cloud storage or server-side backups.

3. App Permissions

To provide its core functionality, Posey requires access to specific device features. These permissions are used only for the following:

  • Camera: To display the live camera feed and allow you to capture new photos.
  • Photo Library / Storage: To allow you to select your own reference images for overlays and to save your finished photos to your device.

You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings, though doing so will limit the app's ability to take or save photos.

4. Third-Party Services

Posey does not integrate with any third-party services, advertising networks, or data brokers. There are no "hidden" background processes communicating with outside parties.

5. Children’s Privacy

Because Posey does not collect any personal information, it is inherently safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly or unknowingly collect data from children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions), as we do not collect data from any users.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. However, our core philosophy of "No Data Collection" is a fundamental feature of Posey. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
